2020 marks the third year from the set up of this collective impact initiative with the objective to promote access to safe water in the community water management context. Even with the startling figure of almost 20million people without access to water in the rural Brazil, we can celebrate the 100,000 that were impacted in infrastructure or management because of the work of 16 allied organizations.

WTT is the main reference for innovation in the context of the Alliance.  Besides a Public call for Technologies where 114 solutions were evaluated to answer 9 specific challenges from the field organizations in the community water management space, WTT supports the continuous discussions and exchanges within the Alliance space. 7 solutions were implemented in real context and several other technologies are still evaluated. Currently our innovations efforts aims to improve Water Quality Monitoring and Analysis dynamics within the rural sanitation context.
