In the context of a joint initiative in partnership with Avina, WTT coordinated a 10 day Mission in the beginning of last March. Besides institutional meetings with IDB, AECID, UNDP and local organizations in Port Au Prince, field visits were also conducted. Crossing the country from Mole San Nicola in the far Northwest to the Dominican border in the Southeast, many collaboration opportunities were presented, in themes such as Water, Climate Action and Food Security.
This travel wouldn’t be possible without the articulation of Avina’s allies from other countries in the region: Church World Service and CESAL.
