[Webi-NAR] Public Policies and Barriers to the Development of Regenerative Food Businesses in Latin America

On May 17th, at 11 AM, via Zoom and Facebook, the webinar “Public Policies and Barriers to the Development of Regenerative Food Businesses in Latin America” will take place.

The initiative will present an overview of public policies that promote regenerative practices while addressing the main barriers and gaps in policies to advance towards a regenerative approach to the Latin American food system.

Participating in the online meeting are:

  • Francisco Malheiros and Josy Malheiros – Association of Agroextractivist Workers of Ilha das Cinzas (ATAIC)
  • Paulo Niederle, researcher at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS)
  • Diana Trujillo, Universidad de Los Andes-Red SEKN
  • Carlos Pomareda, Consultant and Manager at SIDE S.A.

 

The event is promoted by the Regenerative Food Business Consortium, a group formed by the organizations Fundação Avina, CATIE, NESST, SVX MX, Sistema B, URL, SEKN, WTT, GRADE, and IDR. The activity is open, and registrations can be made here . There will also be a live stream on CATIE’s Facebook page.

In April, the RFB Consortium had already promoted the webinar “Gender Equality as a Regenerative Approach in Food Businesses: Challenges and Tools”, which can be watched here on CATIE’s Facebook page.
